What is it?
The Bowen Technique for cats, dogs, horses (equines) and other animals is a gentle holistic treatment which provides drugless pain relief and can improve your pet’s quality of life.
Practitioners stimulate key points within the muscles and connective tissues of the body by subtle movement and manipulation which allows the body to rebalance and heal itself.

How does it work?
Bowen practitioners for animals use a very light touch across the fibres of the muscles and connective tissues of your pets body, which stimulates the stretch and Golgi tendon reflexes and joint receptors within their body.

The Bowen Technique’s key stimulation points strongly correlate to therapeutic points along the meridians (used in acupuncture) and Trigger Points (used in MyoFascial Release).
